Styled living room with a bay window, white shutters, a brass floor lamp and cushioned sofas around a glass coffee table

RENT WHILE YOU SELL

Rent your home while it's on the market.

Selling with your own agent? We let and manage your home as a short let while it's on the market, so it earns instead of sitting empty. Your agent handles the sale; we handle the guests.

25% + VAT (30% inc VAT) of rental income, plus a £500 + VAT (£600 inc VAT) onboarding fee.

The presentation challenge

Empty spaces can be harder to imagine as home.

Empty rooms are hard for buyers to picture. A furnished, lived-in home photographs better and shows how the space works.

  • 02 — Atmosphere

Lighting, layout and finishing details can make the property feel more coherent.

  • 03 — Photography

A furnished home makes for better listing photos.

From assessment to market

How it works.

Timings depend on the home and how much furnishing it needs.

  1. Property assessment

We inspect the property’s condition, analyse short-let potential, and review the property’s suitability for the proposed arrangement.

  2. Recommended plan

Yo's Home suggests how to furnish and style the home, and we give you a likely rental figure.

  3. Agreement

We agree the fee, dates and how viewings work.

  4. Preparation

Yo's Home furnishes the home, then we photograph it and list it.

  5. Letting while you sell

Guests stay while your agent markets and shows the home.

  6. Review & adapt

We regularly review feedback, occupancy trends, and buyer enquiries to adjust strategy.

Questions, answered

What you may want to know.

We let and manage your home as a short let while your own estate agent sells it, so it earns instead of standing empty.
